On July 6, I was diagnosed with diffuse large b-cell lymphoma, the most common of non-hodgkin’s lymphoma, a cancer of the lymphatic system. My oncologists have been fairly quick to prescribe both a chemotherapy cocktail and radiation as my treatment, but based on a lot of research on behalf of my spouse, family, myself, and trusted sources, I have decided to opt out of these treatments, leaving them as a last resort, in hopes for a non-toxic, integrative, holistic cure. The particular drugs that the oncologists are prepared to pump through me are too dangerous to be administered intravenously, and they require a special port surgically installed in my body. This is a mix of madness that can lead to secondary cancers, amongst other side effects that aren’t that much better, and this does not sit right with me. How am I supposed to be cured with something that could make it just as bad if not worse? That, on top of it not being a definite cure especially for the type of cancer that I have, is more than enough for me to seek a different way to stay alive.
And there are other ways.
The treatment I’ve already started is focusing on the best nutrition possible (including juicing), the right exercise, proper stress management, and emotional release, and I am planning to bring it all home by attending the Utopia Wellness Center in Oldsmar, Florida. Utopia Wellness is a leading-edge medical center that offers integrative, holistic, patient-focused medical treatments. This course of action is what my family and I believe to be the way out of this terrible situation.
Unfortunately, the route I am taking is not covered by insurance. While the cost of Utopia is much less than the amount generated by the average cancer patient when doing the conventional treatments of chemotherapy and radiation, by it not being covered by insurance, my way out of this must be paid completely out of pocket. In some way, this ends up being much more expensive than whatever copays or deductibles I would have to meet, if I were doing this conventionally.
My cost for therapy at Utopia Wellness, with nearby housing and fresh organic food for the expected 8 weeks of treatment, will require around $40,000. With medical bills already piled up, I’ve also amassed a pretty big debt.
This amount of money is a lot more than I can afford. My family and I can probably cover about $20,000, but without the rest, I can’t do the full treatment.
I have a positive outlook. I expect to make it out of this and I want to do the most that I can to heal myself. I’m looking forward to a long life.
The $35,000 we are asking for will be to cover the cost for Utopia Wellness Center, my two-month stay away from home, along with helping pay for my fully organic diet, and to cover other expenses including unpaid medical bills that I incurred during a time I was recently not covered by insurance for tests and biopsies.
On behalf of myself, my beautiful wife, and the rest of my lovely family, I humbly ask for a donation to help me get where I need to be. Thank you so much.
Sincerely,
