Families Forward Philadelphia provides shelter, housing, protection, comfort, support and hope to Philadelphia’s HOMELESS FAMILIES.

Their children’s play area is in desperate need of toys, color, light, organization, and everything else necessary to make it an uplifting place for the children to play. They are allowed to have play dates only in public spaces, so the play room is hugely important in their lives.

We are looking to raise money to redesign and renovate the children’s room. On this page are photos of what it looks like now, juxtaposed to what a designer (who will be donating her services) is proposing. We would love your help in making this space a happier and brighter place for these homeless children.

• They have over 300 children in their programs daily

• They offer 80 homes in West Philadelphia to help transition formerly homeless families
• Children represent on average 63% of their clients
