Help a homeless mum & baby fleeing domestic abuse

Hi! My name is Tanita.

I have set up this page to support a brave homeless woman who has just given birth to a beautiful baby . She has escaped an abusive marriage and is in hiding due to serious honour-killing threats. She’s all alone and sad, but is with hope awaiting appropriate help from the system.

She is in need of basic articles. I have done as much as I can to support her on my own and within my means, but I don’t have certain things like XL comfortable clothing, Abayas or Hijabs to give her. I have enquired for that kind of donations from kind sisters who may be having a wardrobe clear out and am awaiting an update.

Through this page, I hope to raise a small fund to help her with other essentials that she’s in need of. As she has no means of mobility, I will be personally visiting her at the hospital regularly to drop things to her and keep her company, until she’s safely back on her feet again.
