Homeless with Hope: Jackie & Bonsai's Journey

Hi, my name is Jackie and my best friend's name is Bonsai. I'm raising money for Pet Resource Center because they really came through for me and my handsome boy! He is all I have, and without him, I would be lost. He always has my best interest in mind and always has one eye open making sure I'm safe.

A few days ago, he got attacked by another dog, and his leg was broken. The first vet I took him to wanted $1500 to fix it and take care of him. I didn't have the money and couldn't get approved for Care Credit. The vet had told me if I didn't come up with a plan, she was gonna make me surrender my baby. I broke down crying; I couldn't lose him. I lost my mom four years ago, and ever since, Bonsai has been it. I'm currently homeless, and not for your stereotypical reasons. We really have each other's back, and I need him.

I emailed Pet Resource Center on my way to the vet to give my last plea for them to give me more time to figure it out. As I'm sitting there waiting for the vet, Pet Resource Center calls me. I was able to make arrangements to bring him in on a Monday. At the very last minute, they called and saved the day, literally. I was able to take him; they were amazing, and I owe zero. I want to raise money for them because if it wasn't for them, me and my boy would have been separated. I want them to be able to continue to bless others in my situation or similar. I appreciate any and all donations.
