Hi everyone, I don’t like to post asking for funds because I usually cover costs out of my own pocket.

This time I am reaching out because this poor senior boy has a lot going on.

Last week he was being posted all over by folks begging for help to keep him from being dumped at a kill shelter.

This baby is about 7-8 years old. He was stolen from his family as a puppy. Five years later, he was found and scanned. The original owners were contacted but sadly did not take him back. During those early years of his life, this baby suffered who knows what but was clearly never loved. He thought he was finally going to have a bright future, but unfortunately, the hands he ended up in never gave him the love and care he deserved. They then decided to just drop him at a kill shelter as a stray. One day before he was dropped off, I stepped in to try to buy him some more time and find rescue or a safe foster home. I got him transported to San Diego, and the baby was in worse shape than I knew. He’s very underweight to where his ribs are showing, he has scars on his body that look like old laceration wounds, he is developing an ulcer in one eye and losing sight in the other, he has allergy blisters on every paw, and hot spots under his arms. He needs to be neutered and have blood work done because his rear is really swollen. This poor baby is so scared of noises and sudden movements, and his vision seems a little impaired. He’s a friendly boy, and it’s so heartbreaking to see how scared he gets when you go to pet him. He bows his head and flinches his eyes, unsure of whether he is going to get hit or loved. No dog, especially a senior dog, should have to go through this. I am asking to help raise funds to get his medical treatment done and/or to offer to a rescue who takes him in.

This time it’s a little out of my budget, but he needs treatment ASAP. Please share to help get his treatments started. Thank you all kindly.
