Hello everyone!
We are Olivia and Devika, middle school students at The Nueva School.
We hope to raise money and awareness about the difficulty homeless people are facing with protecting themselves from coronavirus without the protection of a home.
We are partnering with The Homeless Prenatal Program (http://www.homelessprenatal.org/), a nationally-recognized family resource center located in San Francisco that empowers homeless and low-income families to break the cycle of childhood poverty.
We have recently met with an executive leadership staff member at The Homeless Prenatal Program, Malea Chavez, to discuss the program’s needs. We will use all money donated to buy masks, gloves, and toiletries for the organization.
