Homeless. Please help me get off the street

Hello my name is Jo. It's with sadness that I have to ask for help. Due to circumstances I have been left homeless with no where to stay in Madrid. I've worked all my life and after losing my job somehow I allowed things get me down and let things slip out off control and lost everything. I really don't know how it happened. I have tried all the shelters but there is a very long waiting list. I have found a hotel that is €11 per night. I know if I could have some stability for a month I know I can find work again with my mind not occupied every day afraid off finding somewhere safe to sleep. I am able to eat in the soup kitchens without which I really don't know how id survive. I know many will say it's my own fault and it turned but please if you can find it in your heart you will make a big difference.
