Homeless Mom and infant twins need your help
Donation protected
Hello friends,
I'm reaching out to share the story of my best friend, Brea, who is currently facing an unimaginable situation. We've been best friends since we were eight years old, and I’ve seen her face every challenge with strength and determination. But right now, she’s in the fight of her life.
In December, due to her financial difficulties, she was forced to leave her apartment and is now homeless with her 6-month-old twin boys. After her final day in her apartment on December 20, she’s been staying in a motel while trying to keep up with the costs of basic needs. To make ends meet, she’s been doing Instacart, but it’s not enough to cover all of her expenses as she waits for the orientation phase of a new job to finish and bring in more stable income.
I’m hoping to help her find some relief by securing enough funds to cover two months of an extended Airbnb stay. This will allow her and the twins a safe, stable environment as I help her apply for more permanent housing options.
As many people know, a prior eviction can significantly limit housing options. Many landlords are hesitant to rent to someone with an eviction on their record, and this makes finding a safe and affordable place to live a daunting task. The stigma associated with eviction often leads to rejection, leaving individuals like Brea and her twins in a position where stability and security seem out of reach.
She is actively working hard to change her circumstances, but she can’t do it alone.
If you are able to help, any amount would make a huge difference. All proceeds will go to Brea and her twins.
Thank you so much for reading, and please consider donating or sharing this with others who may be able to help. Every little bit adds up, and it means the world to both of us during this incredibly challenging time.
With gratitude,
Terrylin
