Homeless Key Workers after Home Flooded

Donation protected

We lost everything downstairs due to major flooding in Shepherd’s Bush, West London. The basement of the flat was thigh deep with black sewage water due to an overflow of the drains during the rainstorm. Our ground floor and basement flat has been destroyed, along with all our belongings, from clothes to laptops, and other sentimental things.

We tried our best to stop it, but it flooded so fast. Sewage water was coming out of our toilet and shower. Water was coming out of our plug sockets. We’re truly devastated. Our belongings were floating and not much much could be saved.

We don’t have insurance to replace our belongings or have places to stay. We are 3 key workers - a nurse, teacher and mental health worker.

Anything would help in this situation, and would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,

Zhané, Lejla and Berry
