Please consider helping Vivian and her 2 children rebuild their lives. In the early hours of Friday morning they woke up to every families worst nightmare. Due to no fault of their own, their apartment was on fire. They watched in agony as everything they own was either burned or damaged beyond repair by smoke and water. They have lost everything other than the clothes on their backs. In speaking with them they are so humble and just so grateful to have made it out alive! In the amount time that I have known Vivian she has always had the warmest smile and kindest words regardless of what life has thrown at her. Her children ages 16 and 14 are the sweetest most respectful young people who shouldn’t have to worry about what is next for them. As a single mom raising 2 children money is already tight.

As of right now they are temporarily in a hotel, yet homeless in the Town of Highlands. They need the help of their neighbors! I have always been so proud of how our community comes together when one of our own needs us, this is no different. We stand together when times are tough so let’s put our money where our mouths are!
