Hi my name is Crystie and I am fundraising for my four kids and I to get from Reno Nevada to Fort Smith Arkansas we have been homeless out in the streets of Reno since 2019 it has been such a struggle we have been living motel to car to Motel. At one point in time my car was stolen from me and we bounced from homeless shelter to motel to the park back to motels. I have no friends or family here in Reno I have decided getting to Arkansas would be our best bet my mom and stepdad live there however I drive a gas hog and cannot raise the money to get gas to leave, being I have to pay for my hotel rooms every night which is a very expensive. Please if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated it is becoming so hard out here on the streets it's come down to where I have to choose my job or getting the kids to school its just too hard here with no friends, family or child care and working my butt off to pay for my hotel room and not be able to pay for anything else .. I would love to get to Arkansas and get us a home so my kids could have a nice Christmas this year. Every month sometimes every few days or every few weeks we lose half of our belongings because they don't fit in the car with us so I have to toss them in the dumpster and very tired of living like this so.
