Support Derek To Get A Home And Off The Streets

Hi my name is Derek and I'm on disability allowance and homeless. I'm currently waiting on the housing list to approve my application (1 to 5 weeks processing time). On the 3rd of June I dropped dead due to ventricular fibrillation and was resuscitated 2 minutes later by CPR. I spent 4 days in a medically induced coma every time they tried to wake me I had a seizure. But I appear in good health now. thankfully.

I'm staying in hostels when their cheap and the streets when their expensive like the weekends or when there is an event on.

If I'm lucky I get a friends couch to stay on.

This is a statement about refugees getting 5 star tretment while the likes of me are being turned down emergency accommodation. Left to rot and die on the street. I've exhusted every avenue for emerency shelter. the county council said "To give me emergency accommodation I'd be put with bad people"

The money you donate would pay for night accommodation so I dont have to sleep on the street any more which would be so amazing. it would feed me each day.

I'm in a short term situation others are not so lucky: IF I REACH MY GOAL I WILL DONATE EVERY CENT TO THE APPROPRIATE CHARITIES FOR THE HOMELESS. THAT'S A PROMISE.

If you can spare a euro I would be honoured.

Remember this is a charity donation once the goal is reached it means all the money once donated goes to the appropriate charities for homelessness.

So of you share my feelings towads homelessness in Ireland then please spare what you can. No donation is too small.

Just dont give money you need yourself because of your giving nature and cant afford. I know theres plenty out there that would go without just to donate to me.
