I am Nicole Phelps (18), and my sister is Emily Sutherland (20). We attend UCSD and San Diego City College, respectively.
We were forced to leave our home of sixteen years after a call to the police concerning our father. After staying with a friend for a month, we’ve just about exhausted our funds for gas and food.
My sister’s check for work has been delayed, and I am currently stuck in the hiring process for an indeterminate amount of time and have no idea when I’ll even start, let alone get paid.
Our welcome is officially over by the end of the month and where we’ll go is completely up in the air. In the meantime, we’d greatly appreciate a donation of any amount so we can feed ourselves and pay for gas so we can get to school/work.
