Homeless Bound with Pets
Donation protected
Ironically, after I decided to take the advice of colleagues to start this campaign, I pulled out my lower back so badly this morning, I am struggling to walk and had to cancel 3 appointments today. Murphy's Law in full swing as you read why I am now a GoFundMe story.
This past year has been more financially difficult with car issues, pet emergencies and a death. 3 weeks ago, because of a fuel pump, I lost $2K jobs that day...which was supposed to pay my September rent. The day I took my van home from the dealership, I received notice that I must vacate my rented home by Nov. 1st. This is the 2nd time I've had a house sold out from underneath me.
It is futile to try to find an apartment and difficult to find a house to rent for the lack of deposit money and having pets. My 3 year goal was to live in an RV so that I can expand my business and have a permanent, albeit, simplified home. It seems now that a RV life is the best option. I have been blessed recently with an offer of an RV parking spot at a house for the remainder of the year.
What remains in my way are the following late rent payment of $2440, upcoming rent in 2 weeks of $1690, and $1350 late payments & registration on vehicle, and $15000 for a used RV.
I have been in contact with Angel Hanz for the Homeless (www.angelhanz.org) and one of their needs is a van. In a separate gofundme campaign I will be putting the cost of the loan of my van. If the goal is reached, I will be donating my van to Angel Hanz for the Homeless. This means I need to raise $5000 for a used smaller car that can be hitched to an RV, which after paying off my van loan, I can finance a "home".
Any partial help that can be offered to me is beyond humbling. I am eternally grateful for the kindness I have received in these past few weeks from people, friends and strangers. Bless you all for your generosity.
