Homeless $1 Hotel in Japan

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Amiris. I’m currently fluctuating between vehicle homelessness and housing insecure homelessness within the United States of America. I heard on social media about the Asahi Ryokan hotel in Japan, where a person may stay for $1 USD per night if they agree to be livestreamed on YouTube while residing within that room. I don’t have much money, but I do have enough to pay for an entire month stay in that hotel — especially if they take cryptocurrencies like BitCoin as a form of payment.

The Asahi Ryokan’s, “One Dollar Hotel” YouTube promotion is found at: https://youtu.be/k_D6eaNz6fU

For now, I’m starting out by asking to fund my round-trip expense from the States and back. If all else fails the $3K USD raised via this donation goal would at least pay off the credit card debt I've dug myself in, from food and transit expenses racked up over eight months thus far. Hopefully I get to go to Japan as I'm already a proud passport holder! If not, well at least the same amount will allow me a fresh credit start which would buy me more time and leverage to obtain an income source through my efforts in a successful business startup.

Anyway I figured this could possibly become a lucrative opportunity for both the Asahi Ryokan hotel in Japan and myself, as an aspiring entrepreneur I hope to utilize the live coverage to increase marketing reach for both of us. Not to mention by staying in this hotel, I would have the convenience of being close to a San'yō Shinkansen station which is the high-speed rail network connecting much of Japan, north and south. Even if I were to only stay within the Fukuoka prefecture/area — where the hotel is located — I would be staying within a major city, whereby easily accessing business networking opportunities through event socials.

It would be ideal for me if I could manage to stay in the one dollar room for a year, so to allow me to gain and retain an income source — like my efforts in starting a successful business startup. However, according to online information, even with a valid U.S. passport I may only stay in Japan for up to ninety days with proof of a return flight ticket back to the States. During those ninety days, maybe I could try to find out how to extend my stay legally be it by a work visa or otherwise. Though I’m not sure how to do any of that yet, as this would be my first time traveling alone outside of the United States of America.

With all that said, I would prefer to stay at the Asahi Ryokan — or anywhere long term — so I may focus on my startup businesses that I’m trying to launch with no budget. Yet, given my deep poverty and nothing to show as a Tax Return I'm unsure where this will have me stand — since having made zero dollars in income during 2017 & 2018, while only cashing out $600 USD of Capital Gains from my cryptocurrency trades over those years (aside from the gifts received which aren't counted as Capital Gains nor as income). To now having made only $252 USD worth of income through cryptocurrencies thus far, but still zero in Capital Gains for this 2019 year. Thus, I may need to overshoot this fundraiser’s initial goal in order to flaunt an acceptable balance on my checking account for the Japanese governmental authorities, and/or obtain a "[financial] 'sponsor'" to prove my ability to stay in Japan even for just the ninety day default tourist duration — according to the VisaJapan website (source: https://www.visasjapan.com/visa-requirements/). Please contact me directly if you are willing to also become a *sponsor* for my entry into Japan!

Thank you for your support in giving me a helping hand up! <3
