Homegoing for Q
Donation protected
My name is Linda McIntosh and I'm the great Aunt of Quasshie "Q" Haten. Quasshie was a very bright and well-liked young man. He was loved by all of his family, friends, teachers, and mentors.
He was an outstanding individual with an amazing sense of humor and a personality of gold. Q showed love to everyone around him no matter what. He was his mothers pride and joy, her protector, and most of all her confidant. On October 12th 2016, Quasshie was gunned down by a masked-robber, while sitting in a parked car on Detroit's west-side. At the very young age of 23 years old, his potential for greatness was extinguished by an individual who had no respect for life itself.
Quasshie had ambitions of playing professional basketball, overseas. Everyone that knew Quasshie knew that basketball was his passion. He attended Denby High, where he played for the varsity basketball program and then went on to attend Central State University in Ohio. Quasshie's longtime dream of playing professional basketball ended abruptly due to a senseless murder.
We, as his family, are asking that the love he showed to others be returned to him at this time. Please help us provide him with the proper home going he deserves. All donations are greatly appreciated and will be utilized to fund Quasshie's home going service.
