Home-going for Our Beloved AshleighElizabeth
Hello Howard University Family and Friends,
I am writing to all of you on behalf of Ms. Sandra Anderson Richards-Henry mother of AshleighElizabeth Viviana Henry. Many of you knew her as Ashleigh. Ashleigh passed away in the early morning hours of July 9, 2021. She leaves behind her Mother (Ms. Henry), a three-year old son (Samuel-Elijah or SamBam/Buckaroo), a host of family members, and close friends from (Work, Church, Howard University). As one of her best friends from Howard University, this has been heartbreaking, not only for me to write this, but for those of us who loved her to come to terms with the fact that our beautiful, graceful, intelligent, and selfless Ashleigh has transitioned with God and joined her dad (Paw-Paw).
At this moment, the family needs your help in finalizing Ashleigh's funeral arrangements. It has been a difficult time for Ashleigh and her family. They were relocated to Apple Valley, California during Hurricane Katrina, her mother became disabled requiring a wheelchair for mobility and her father passed away while we were in college. Ashleigh worked at Potbelly on Georgia Avenue to help pay her expenses at Howard. She was always there for her family and so important to their household. Now that she is gone her family needs our help.
Unfortunately, Ashleigh did not have life insurance and since her mother cannot work due to her disability, they are not able to pay burial and other expenses associated with Ashleigh's passing. Ashleigh took good care of her mother before her untimely death and I'm asking you to help Ashleigh's Mom so we can take good care of Ashleigh right now. Also, I am appealing to you to give as much as possible so we can provide a fund for Ashleigh's son Samuel. Ashleigh was a great mother who adored and loved her son, SamBam. Sam was the joy, happiness, and energetic baby boy she posted many pictures and videos of on her social media accounts and sent to her close friends. We love him so much and want to make sure Sam will be surrounded by his family, close friends (community) and that he will be financially taken care of too. Without life insurance, it is extremely challenging for Ashleigh's Mom. Let's give her a beautiful, proper home-going service. If you can find it in your heart to help Ashleigh's family during this difficult time with donations this would take a great burden off their shoulders. They are grieving and are concerned that they are not in a position to bury her properly. We appreciate any donation you are able to give during this time. Thank you so much for your time, comfort and donation for AshleighElizabeth Viviana Henry. P.S. You can also send any additional donations to $Slutiebelle
