We would like to thank everyone for their gifts. Linda was not just my cousin. She was one of my best friends. The outpouring of love and support has helped our family. There are not enough words to say thank you. In addition to the services, there will be a large celebration of her life on August 7th. If you would like to participate please feel free to contact me. We regret to inform you that as of May 23, 2021, our dear Sister Linda Thurston transitioned to be with the ancestors. The shock and heartbreak of her sudden passing, reverberates through the hearts and minds of so many who loved her dearly.
Our Sister Linda is survived by family, friends, colleagues and loved ones. We ask for your prayers for her community of Family, Friends & associates during this time.
Linda M Thurston, lived a life full of struggle and grace. In life there is always struggle and Linda was committed, she was committed to her community, to the disenfranchised, the displaced and those who struggled to be heard. Her wake will be Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 6-8pm and her Funeral services will be on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 11am. A celebration of her life will be in August, details to follow. We will update this with accurate times and locations once all arrangements have been made.
All donations will go toward the services and the celebration of life. Please give what you can and know that your donation is very much appreciated by our Sister Linda’s family and friends.
