“Jeff Beat Cancer”
You fought a good fight; You finished the course; You kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7
My husband, Jeffrey Wilder, courageously battled stage 4 colon cancer and beat it when our heavenly father reached down and touched him calling him home to eternal rest on November 10, 2018.
I humbly ask for your prayers and financial donations so that we can help Jeff fulfill his last wishes and proper burial.
Jeff is a man that devoted his entire adult life protecting and serving his community and his country. He was in law enforcement for over 10 years and also served in the United States Army. Jeff was that police officer that cared for others and always greeted you with a smile. At a recent charity ball, instead paying medical bills, Jeff wanted to honor those 1st responders that risked their life but go unnoticed every day. This was a selfless act and a true testament of the man that he is.
In the past 2 years, while battling cancer, Jeff fought like a soldier through faith, perseverance and hope while using his gift for serving others to motivate and inspire every person he encountered. This included neighbors, friends, church members and many others from around the world. He gave hope to the hopeless while sharing his testimony and journey.
After being diagnosed, Jeff told me that he was called for a greater purpose. It was like he had a mobile ministry wherever he went where he took every opportunity to share his testimony and faith. He realized that that it wasn’t about him as he encouraged others.
Jeff always said that he was going to continue to fight. Seven days prior to him leaving us, he said, “I am fighting for my eternal soul to be with Jesus Christ”. At the time, I didn’t know what it meant, but now I do. At this point, to provide him with this final wishes and proper burial we are in need of your help. During the past 2 years, we have accumulated a tremendous amount of debt which has led to the exhaustion of any life insurance policies and savings placing a heavy burden on our family.
Please find in your heart to donate to a great man of faith, his life and his legacy. Please share this page and leave inspirational comments as we transition without Jeff physically being with us.
Thanking you in advance for your prayers, kind words and financial donations.
