We are a marketplace for bulk, refillable, and zero/low waste essential home and personal care goods. Homebody Refill Market is a space encouraging waste reduction and better care for our earth. We provide quality and effective products in an inclusive, community-based environment.

Product + Service

Homebody Refill Market is a soon-to-be (we're aiming to be open in the next 6 months) brick and mortar store in downtown Northfield, Minnesota selling bulk, refillable, and low/zero waste products for home and personal care. Customers can purchase bulk items in the quantity they desire, refilling the same container of their choice time and time again. The concept saves you money, as you only pay for what is needed, and reduces waste.

Bulk products will include shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, body and facial oils, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, all purpose cleaner, scrub powder, and more. Non-bulk items will include solid shampoo and conditioner, wool dryer balls, laundry sheets, toothbrushes, scrub brushes, toilet paper, and dish cloths, etc. Homebody Refill Market is currently building partnerships with other environmentally conscious community makers, business owners, and organizations in effort to source no/low waste products locally, when possible.

How It Works

Bring your refillable vessel into the shop, weigh it empty, and then fill it with as much (or as little!) product as you need. We’ll weigh the vessel once filled and be sure that you only pay for the product you take.

Don’t have a vessel? Don’t worry, we have your back! There are jars and containers of different varieties available for purchase or there’s a “FREE” bin of community donated containers up for grabs. Use it, fill it, and (bonus!) donate it back for another friend to use. Think: “Northfield Boomerang Bags” style.
