Home Updates for Jeremy Weinstein After Accident
Donation protected
On May 3rd, 2022, our dear friend Jeremy Weinstein was in a motorcycle accident near Asheville, NC, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of several fingers, decreased mobility, and extensive burns on his arms and legs. As an experienced rider, Jeremy was able to partially mitigate the damage done to his body once flung from the bike. However, the injuries he sustained will require multiple surgeries and burn care for the next several weeks, both locally and in Georgia. Although Jeremy is currently staying with family during his recovery, he faces a new and unexpected challenge when he returns to his own home. What challenge is this?
Before the accident, Jeremy was in the process of renovating his kitchen himself. The space is currently stripped down to the studs with only a makeshift cooking set-up in his living room. Due to his injuries, he is now unable to complete these repairs himself. In addition to mounting hospital costs, Jeremy now faces the added burden of needing to hire professionals to complete his kitchen and return his home to a livable, accessible state. Imagine being in pain, with newfound physical limitations, and not being able to rest at home or simply feed yourself in your own kitchen.
This is where YOU come in. We need your help bringing Jeremy home!
We’re seeking $16,000 to complete the needed kitchen repairs to get Jeremy’s home back up and running. If we reach this goal, any additional funds raised will go towards his medical bills. Jeremy has offered love and support to his family, friends, and community over the years, and now it’s our turn to return the favor. The crash has badly damaged his body, but his kind, positive nature is intact. Every contribution is deeply appreciated, and any amount will help.
Thank you!
