❤️ Help Us Care for Julia Gomez – A 97-Year-Old Mother, Grandmother, and Matriarch

Our beloved Julia Gomez is 97 years old. She’s not only our mother and grandmother—she’s the heart of our family. A strong, compassionate woman who has lived a life of courage and service, she now needs our help, and yours, to stay safe and cared for at home.

Julia is a widow of a Venezuelan naval officer who served his country for over 30 years. She raised seven children—two of whom have sadly passed away—and she has been a pillar of strength through every trial life has brought. Eleven years ago, she moved to the United States to be closer to family, and we’ve been blessed to have her near.

Now in the final chapter of her life, Julia’s mobility has declined significantly. She can no longer get out of bed without help and needs assistance with bathing and using the bathroom. While our family is doing everything we can to care for her at home, the physical and financial demands are growing beyond what we can manage alone.

We’re asking for help to support her dignified care at home.

We are raising funds to cover:

    •    A hospital bed for comfort and positioning

    •    A lift chair to help her sit and stand safely

    •    Bathroom safety railings to prevent falls

    •    A CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) to visit a few times per week and help with:

    •    Transferring her in and out of bed

    •    Assistance in the bathroom

    •    Sponge baths and hygiene support

These essentials will help Julia remain safe, comfortable, and cared for in the home she shares with her loved ones.
