Hello! I'm Ave, a Black queer disabled freelance writer/narrative designer, content creator, and performer. My partner and I bought our first home together in February 2024. Since then, I lost my job in August of 2024 and have been unable to find sufficient steady employment. My partner has been unable to find better employment, especially now with recent changes in government funding. Because of this, we have made the difficult and frankly devastating, but necessary decision to sell our home.
We are seeking assistance in raising funds to help with:
- Selling costs (as we have only been in the house a year and are guaranteed to lose a significant amount)
- Cosmetic and plumbing repairs to put the home on the market
- Moving costs - depending on how things continue to pan out, we may have to relocate states away for somewhere more affordable
