Hello friends, family, and kind supporters,
I am reaching out to my community today during a challenging and painful period of my life. What began as an effort to stabilize my life after unforeseen hardship has turned into a total nightmare.
After suffering an injury that made holding steady employment extremely difficult, I struggled to keep up with rising property taxes and insurance costs. I tried to sell my house, but market delays left me unable to secure a sale. To stay afloat financially, I made the hard decision to move out and live with a cousin so I could rent the home out.
On the strong advice and approval of my leasing agent, I agreed to rent to Section 8 tenants with promises of guaranteed government rent and full damage protections. Instead, it marked the beginning of a devastating two-year ordeal. Over those two years, the tenants lived in my home for free while actively destroying it. Meanwhile, I suffered periods of true homelessness—forced to live out of my car and couch-surf just to get by.
When I finally sought eviction, I was pushed into an agonizing 10-month battle where lawyers dragged out the process to rack up exorbitant legal fees and judges continuously favored the squatting tenants, while insurance completely denied my claims for help.
Just before the eviction was enforced, the tenants fled with zero consequences, leaving behind over $60,000 in severe structural and cosmetic damage. When police arrived, they observed, but refused to document, clear signs of intentional vandalism, including tampering with the outside electrical panel.
The situation has forced me to leave my health education program so I can dedicate all my time and energy toward restoring the property myself. With insurance completely denying coverage and my savings wiped out by legal fees, I am turning to GoFundMe to ask for your support to help me clean up, repair, and rebuild.

Closing & Gratitude
Facing a financial loss of this magnitude alone—after enduring homelessness, receiving zero help from insurance, and seeing the responsible parties walk away without accountability—is heartbreaking. Leaving my health education program to tackle this restoration full-time was a tough decision, but getting this property restored to be sold is critical for my future.
Whether you are able to donate $5, $50, or $100, or simply share this campaign link with your network, every bit of support means the world to me.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your time, generosity, and support.
With immense gratitude,
**Kakhramon Pulatov**
