Hi, my name is Sou Lee and I have been teaching mathamatics and science for 4 years as a 6th grade teacher in Merced, CA. I have been blessed to be working with 6th graders, watching them grow and excel in their academics. Because of my efforts and dedication, I've personally experienced many success stories with my students in their growth and love of mathematics and science.

I am a firm believer that education is the key to success. My stay in Chiang Mai, Thailand has been life changing because of the drive I've seen in the hilltribe students and the efforts they make to better their lives through education. This trip made me restless because so many hilltribe students have no access to the education system because of their remote location. These students are academically neglected without any opportunity to better their lives despite many of these students showing passion for learning and willingness to succeed. Thankfully, there's Home of Little Lamp, who is a dedicated place in providing a safe place, environment, meals, and transportation for students who leave their villages to attend school in the city. In addition to the physical needs of the students, Home of Little Lamp has given tremendous support emotionally and spiritually, guiding these students to be good stewards of kindness and love. I am asking to please consider donating to this fundraiser to keep this ministry going so that more hilltribe students will have an opportunity to better their lives through education.
