Today we are closing the fundraiser. Thank you to everyone who donated. We are amazed by all of the support that was given while Tony was here and shortly after his passing as well. We know he would have been so grateful for the generosity shared with his family❤️.

We are sad to inform you that we have lost our friend Tony. We want to continue to give support to his wife Jenny and their family during this tough time. We plan to keep this account open until December 1st. Additional donations between now and then Jenny will have for funeral expenses and any additional unforeseen costs. We know Tony would appreciate the extra love given to his family. Even though Tony is not with us, his love for his friends and most of all, his family, will live on❤️

Hello! We are helping a very dear friend of ours, Tony Teel. Some of you may remember him, as he was our very first Sushi Chef. He now lives in Slidell, LA with his wife Jenny, son Alex and 2 step children, Noelle and Nathan. To help you understand the Go Fund Me, we asked Tony to give us a run down of the needs.

”I have FSHD, a severe form of Muscular Dystrophy, that has taken a turn for the worse recently. Both of my shoulders are dislocated making it impossible to independently do transfers to and from bed, wheelchair and toilet. All of this leaving the need for medical equipment and home health care. The funds would go toward equipment, medical bills and modifications to the house. We anticipate costs being around $50k.”

Upon hearing the needs, and knowing our community, this Go Fund Me made the most sense to help this incredible family raise the funds needed to support Tony! We set the goal at $25k, but let’s see if we can get beyond that and closer to the full anticipated costs.
