Hello,

My name is Jenni Sasso and I have faced life changing challenges in the last year. I suffer daily from a autoimmune chronic illness which causes severe pain throughout my body. Almost a year ago on August 5th 2021 on top of my chronic illness I suffered a tramatic work injury to my back. This injury has left me physically  changed. On April 8th 2022 I had emergency spinal surgery. I underwent major spinal surgery so that the Neurologist & his team could repair the damage.  By the grace of God after the surgery I could walk again. 

 I do not want to ask for help.  However I cannot do this on my own, and getting help from you today is my only hope to improve my daily living.  Not only do I have to take care of myself throughout this but I am a single Mommy to a young Son.  It will take me at least 2 years to heal, undergo therapy and I desperately need home medical accomodations.  These medical changes made to my home will change my daily living. 

I am reaching out to you today for help so that I can have these medically necessary home accomodations made.    Due to my physica limitations I do not have options & I am in need of your help desperatly.  These adjustments seem minor however these simple adjustments will be a life saver my daily living and my quality of life.

As simple as these seem they will literally change my entire life and my daily living quality of life.

-Adding hand rails to bathroom bath area and toilet areas so I do not fall.

-Adding a simple laundry shoot from upstairs to downstairs so I don't have to carry dirty clothes in baskets.

-Hand rails to door/stairs entering my home so I do not fall exiting and entering my home.

-Moving washer & dryer upstairs from the basement to the first floor of my house so I do not have to carry heavy baskets up & down into the basement.

-Installing a half bathroom (in a closet) to the first floor so that I have access to a bathroom other than upstairs. I cannot manage going up & do own my stairs. 

Due to my medical condition & being on WC disability I am unable to afford these necessary home adjustments.

I have years ahead of me of healing physically from spinal surgery. Since last year this accident has affected my entire life negatively. I have struggled with loss physically, medically, emotionally, and financially & I will never ever be the same or regain what I've lost.

I have accepted that I will never be the same again. At this point all I am asking is that I can live independently safely in my home. However no matter what was taken from me I will make adjustments in my life always with a positive mindset.

I am forever thankful to have another chance in life & to be able to walk again. And I will always see the positive no matter how . With a smile on my face I will help those who are struggling as I have seen such dark moments throughout this process.

I am asking for your donation today so I can make these simple adjustments to my home. Even though these seem to be very simple changes; They are life changing changes for me and will improve my every day life.
