On Wednesday, January 8th, my Mom and Stepdad’s home in Altadena, California, was devastated by the Eaton Canyon wildfire. All that remains of the place they called home for nearly 23 years, filled with memories, laughter, and love, is the masonry of their chimney.
They were able to escape, along with their beloved pets, thanks to the quick actions that saved their lives. But everything they’ve worked so hard for is gone. All they managed to take with them were the contents of two quickly packed suitcases. They are fortunate to be sheltering with family nearby.
They need your help. The road ahead is long, uncertain, and filled with extra short-term expenses. While your donations won't bring back their grandchildren's artwork, countless musical instruments, or the whole home renovation they completed 2 weeks ago, it can help make these next few months slightly easier.
Every act of kindness helps them move forward from this unimaginable loss.
Thank you from Lynne, Kok, Scott (Kelsey, Ella, & Wyatt), and Jessica (Roger, Evie, & Cam)
