Home Library for students
Hi everyone,
Do you want to join me in making a difference?
On the 13th October I will be doing the 4 x 4 x 48 running challenge. I will be starting at 5pm and need to run 4 miles (6.5km) every 4 hours for 48 hours = 84.5km in total.
I'm raising money to assist Redfern Jarjum College - a charity school in Redfern supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and their families who are not participating or coping in mainstream learning as a result of poverty and domestic circumstances. I want to raise $3000 for a literacy initiative which will provide an at home library for all 25 of their students. This means every student receives a book-pack filled with quality literature throughout the year with the goal of building their own at home library. This initiative encourages reading at home and supports families directly. Every donation will help get us one step closer. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
More information about Redfern Jarjum College:
