Hi community, my name is Lena and I am fundraising for a beloved friend of mine T. On June 8, 2023 T's world was turned upside down as she returned home to find her apartment, along with six others destroyed in a fire that had been intentionally set by upset neighbors.

T is a remarkable individual who embodies kindness, generosity, and resilience. Every day, she works tirelessly with transitional aged youth experiencing homelessness on the streets of San Francisco, providing support and hope to those who need it most. As T has now been displaced she shared, "Now I know what our young people feel." T is the type of person to give you the clothes off her back if you were in need.

Despite facing personal hardships, T remains a pillar of strength and continues to stand up for others in need. She has been sleeping out of her car, couch surfing, and navigating a challenging situation with grace and dignity.

As of March 12, 2024 T is still homeless. With the help of an attorney she has been offered a temporary unit. However, she needs our support to make this transition possible and rebuild what was lost. The additional funds raised will go directly towards covering T's prorated rent for the remainder of March and ensuring she can meet her rent payment on April 1st.
