Lawrence “Maniac” West was an electrifying spirit who shook the entire DC community. He hit the Go-Go scene in the 70s as an innovative creator which led to so many classic Go-Go trends. Lawrence was the definition of a LOVING family man who loved his children and family very deeply. He would give you the watch off his wrist (he had so many) and the shoes off his feet. He left such an impact on everyone he has ever met and would always try his best to make you smile.

Please help the West family with anything your heart can offer as we want to lay him to rest comfortably and peacefully. We thank you and love all of the support and kind words we’ve received in these tough times.
