Home going expenses for Catherine
Donation protected
Cathy was diagnosed with pneumonia on Dec.13th 2021 and later tested positive for Covid on Dec.30th 2021. On January 6th 2022 she was transported from her home in Pengilly,MN to Hibbing hospital and then onto Virginia Hospital where her health and breathing rapidly declined. By Jan.15th She was maxed out on heated high flow oxygen and c-pap. On Jan.19th the doctors found a puncture in one of her lungs most likely caused by the fluid in her lungs and the pressure of coughing too hard. Ultimately the air leaking from her lungs traveled up around her heart causing pressure on her heart. We still had hope and faith that the hole would heal itself and the air around her heart would dissipate. The last time we spoke to our Mother was January 21st 2022 over video chat. The whole family told her how much we loved and missed her and she expressed how very much she loved all of us. She fought so hard for the next 6 days but she was so tired and couldn’t fight anymore. God had the last say and decided to end her pain and suffering. On January 27th 2022 in the early Morning Catherine Laverne Miller gained her beautiful wings. We are all deeply pained. She was the staple of our family. She was the glue, the warrior, the comforter, the listening ear, the not so soft spoken. She always fought fiercely behind and for her family. She meant the world to each one of us. We never imagined having to bury our Mother, Grandma, Sister, Aunt and Wife so soon. We were never prepared for this. We are asking for help with funeral costs. We’re hoping to raise the money as soon as possible so we can set a date and the family can see her and say their proper goodbyes. Catherine’s three Children Amanda, Derrick and Charlie are in charge of funeral arrangements and expenses. No amount is too small. Anything is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.
