Home going celebration for Donald "Duck" Odell

Hi, My name is Patricia Banks, my husband, Donald "Duck"Odell went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 25th, 2022. His death came after what we initially thought was a minor surgery to correct nerve issues to his right hand. Unfortunately he developed several complications after the surgery & eventhough I truly believed he would overcome these complications & get better that was not to be. A couple of days before his death a verse from Romans 8:18 popped up on my Facebook feed, the verse read "The pain that you've been feeling, can't compare to the JOY that's coming"! I told him, look Donald, surely this verse is for you! While it hurts, I KNOW according to Psalm 16:11, he has received that JOY his verse speaks of because in Thy PRESENCE is fulness of joy, at Thy right hand there are PLEASURES forevermore.

Donald was born & raised in Memphis, Tennessee & expressed numerous times that his desire when it was time to lay him to rest that it be done back home in Memphis. So, I am going to try to the best of my ability to fulfill that desire & get him back home to be laid to rest. Any donations to help me do this are truly appreciated. Stay safe & be blessed!
