The Youth of Vision Academy (YOVA) is a nonprofit (501(c) (3) private Christian boarding school established in the United States of America and operates out of Jamaica. YOVA was established to provide educational, therapeutic, and behavioral services to children and young adolescents in a safe and nurturing environment.
At YOVA we aim to empower, equip, and educate youth in making positive life-changing decisions through the development of the physical, mental, social, and spiritual faculties.
This year we are fundraising to build a home for YOVA. Please help us build a permanent home for YOVA where our kids can thrive and meet their grandest potential. Thank you for your sacrificial donation.

PARENT TESTIMONY 1
I remember the day “I found” Youth of Vision Academy like it was yesterday. I use quotation marks because the way I came across YOVA was a literal “Godsend”. I had been calling facility after facility, googling for days. It was probably months’ worth of googling because I had been down this path before, to find the program our daughter was in at the time. I was told days before that she was “beyond the scope” of that program’s care. I was frantically looking for a place that would take her.
For years we had slipped through the cracks of insurance coverage, and almost equally importantly, people who understood the diagnosis our daughter has (Reactive Attachment Disorder).I called a place that was way out of our price range, but I was desperate. They told me that our daughter was not a fit for their program, but that they might know a place… and they told me to call Jennifer.
That day, everything changed. For us, and for our daughter.
I cannot recommend YOVA enough. The staff allows God to lead, in every sense. They pray for and with all of the students. They are a perfect balance of love and discipline, structure and fun, creativity, and studying scripture. They easily identify the God-given talents each child has, and they encourage each student to grow in those talents. YOVA includes the family, and gives them a safe place to be vulnerable, and to heal, themselves. They understand the complexities of RAD, and what it looks like in a child (all of it), and at the same time what living with a child that has RAD looks like for the family, and the wreckage RAD leaves in its wake.
YOVA is helping our daughter in ways that I did not think were possible. They are helping our family heal when I thought that would never happen.
YOVA does its best to make their tuition affordable. Many of the families who find YOVA have already spent tens of thousands by the time they “get there”, on other programs and various therapies. Donations help YOVA keep their tuition down, regardless of their costs going up. Giving to YOVA allows you to be part of the miracle that God is already working. You wouldn’t only be helping one child, you would be helping families, and ultimately, the world.

PARENT TESTIMONY 2
We were at the end of our rope, drained of our savings, and our son wasn’t getting much better at all. We were desperate. We started an intensive online search and found YOVA. It was a miracle. They specialize in attachment disorders, something we struggled to find in the States that was affordable. Jennifer and her staff have been an answer to prayer. We whole-heartedly recommend this experience for any child in the same situation our son was in. He’s been there for over a year and we have seen tremendous progress.
Thank you Jennifer...God bless!!!
