Home for Seinor Dog and her Dad.

I met Beiber and her dad 2 months ago. It was 113° out and he was crossing the street struggling to cary her, and a gas can. I stopped to help them and found out they have been living in his car, in the Nevada summer heat. He had run out of gas and had no money and was walking to the gas station to try and beg for a gallon of gas so he could move his car back to the park where he was staying. He carried Beiber with him because it was too hot to leave her with the car, or to let her walk.

He had been trying to find work, which is difficult when you haven't got the modt basic things like a shower and clean clothes. But he persisted and he found a full time job 2 weeks ago! I have been watching Beiber so he can work. He was so excited and everything looked like it was on track for him to eventually get them a place. Well today, 8/9, his car was repossessed. He had just used most of his first paycheck to fill the tank and replace a flat tire so he could keep getting to work. He is in real danger of losing the progress he has made.

All the housing resources in Vegas take time, possibly weeks or months. He is so close and just needs a little help. His dog Beiber is 13 years old and the most resilient little dog I have ever met. Her back legs hardly work and she just keeps on being happy and loving. I really want her to have a home with her dad so she can stop struggling.

I found a weekly studio rental for them. The first 2 weeks are approximately $623. After that he will get paid and have a chance to take over the rent. I will use this money to make the first payment myself and not hand cash to him, just to ensure housing is secured for them both.

I am asking the community to help me help him. I think, this little bit will be the difference between hope and despair for them.
