Home Devastated by Flash Flood

Story

This afternoon, my family and home experienced a devastating flash flood. The foundations of our house, laid in the late 1700's, were washed away to the extent that the kitchen and majority of the living areas are subject to collapse without immediate intervention. Extensive damage was done to the exterior; falling trees have broken railings and support structures, water lines are gone and power lines are down, and roads are impassible. We don't know what the cost of rebuilding will look like, yet, but it's going to be very, very high.  In the short term, my family will be staying in a hotel while the damage is assessed and we start rebuilding. We need your help to mitigate the cost of a long stay, and to begin rebuilding our historic home!
