Hi Friends & Family,

My Grandma whom I’ve always called “Nanny” or “Naney” has had a few very rough years. She had shoulder surgery early in 2020 before the pandemic and then fell and broke her arm and pelvis in the Summer of 2020. She spent months and months in the hospital recovering without access to visitors and she honestly hasn’t been the same ever since.

Unfortunately, a week ago she fell on her way to the bathroom and broke her other arm. After spending 10+ hours in the ER waiting room she was finally seen by a doctor and told that she’d need 6-8 weeks of recovery with her arm in a sling. This of course prevents her from using her walker to get around which means she needs a lot of extra attention in order to do every day things like go to the bathroom, climb into bed etc…

My Aunt Mandy is now her live in caretaker with the occasional help of other generous family and friends but of course these folks have full time jobs and cannot be with her 24/7. Mandy has found professional caretakers to help out but the finances aren’t completely there to pay for it due to other medical bills.

We are trying to raise approximately $3600 to help pay for professional home care 5 days a week for 6 weeks. If you would like to help our family please feel free to donate. Any little bit would help and we would be very appreciative.

She is also sitting a lot and would love some company if you feel so inclined to visit. She’s still a pretty funny lady even though she broke her humerus bone.
