Hello world, it's BIrdOPrey5, Qapla!

For those who don't know I have spent the last 11 years ago mainly living out of a hospital bed in my living room... This followed a year long illness including coma, severe fever, and many complications after a hospital stay in 2009 - 2010. 

Ever since I got home in 2010 my mother (MomOPrey) has been my full time caregiver, 24/7/365. Even accompanying me when I've gone to hospital over the years since, she has always been there for me.

But on Halloween night 2020 she ended up in the Emergency Room herself and is being admitted to the hospital. We do not not the full extent of what she is facing yet but she is scared for me and I for her.

While I have some savings for emergencies like this hiring around-the-clock homecare of qualified people to stay with me and help with "all activities of daily living," is not cheap. 

Several people have asked how they can help, this is one way. All funds raised will be used to pay for my or MomOPrey's medical costs, especially those costs associated with allowing me to hire people who can take care of me at home.
