Home Burnt Down One Week Before Christmas

Hello. My name is Debie and I am fund raising for my son Shaun Moore. For those of you that know Shaun, you know he’s a guy that doesn’t live an extravagant lifestyle. For the past 5 years he has dedicated his life endeavoring to making Indoor Organics successful. Indoor Organics is a family business that is owned by his father. His father has had significant health struggles the past few years due to cancer and cancer related issues. As a result, Shaun has stepped up to manage and keep the business running, allowing his father to focus on his health. With that has come a lot of sacrifice. He has lived in an RV without some of the basic comforts you and I take for granted (running water, indoor bathroom, cable, stove….you get the idea). Shaun never complained about living this way and he made it a home. While difficult at times, it tested his resolve and developed his character even further. Being the glass half full kind of guy that he is, he understood that hard work and sacrifice was required to help Indoor Organics succeed and he always had enough to get by.

Also, if you know Shaun, he is someone you can count on if help is needed. Asking for and receiving help takes him out of his comfort zone. He is usually the one providing the help in most cases. This leads me to why I am reaching out for help on my son’s behalf. On Saturday, Dec 18, Shaun woke up to smoke filling his RV. Within a matter of minutes, smoke and fire overtook his RV. He was able to get his brother awake and out before smoke and fire prevented them from escaping. This happened so fast, he wasn’t able to save any of his personal belongings and his home is completely destroyed. So now a guy that didn’t have much to begin with, is now faced with having nothing. No home, clothes, shoes, bed, blankets, pillows, valuables, collectables, etc. It is unclear if insurance will cover any of this. Any financial donation, however large or small, is much appreciated to help Shaun get back on his feet. While there are some things we will never be able to replace (ashes of loved ones lost, childhood mementos and photos), I am hoping to provide Shaun with some of the basic necessities to provide shelter and replace some of the things he has lost. Prayers for comfort, peace and wisdom during this time are also greatly welcomed. Thank you for however you feel led to help Shaun.
