At the beginning April Jonnies home in Pittsburgh caught fire and they lost almost everything. Thankfully Jonnie, roomate Nikki, and their 3 pets made it out completely okay. The fire was in result of the attached building next door blazing from top to bottom and immediately spreading into their home taking it down with them.

As of May 23rd Jonnie is currently couch hopping with friends occasionally crashing in a unit with the remainder of their things. They were extremely dependant on their personal vehicle for security and work as they are a delivery driver/did Lyft, as of 2 days ago that car is undrivable with damaged wheel bearings, needs new alignment, shot rotors and bald tires. The estimated cost of all the repairs to continue working is quoted at 3,200 with labor. The vehicle no longer being drive able as take such a hard toll on the last they had to fight for staying afloat dimming chances to get on their feet on their own.

Jonnie is a humble person who strives to be as self sufficient as possible initially preferring they try and find their own way back on their feet. Not wanting to burden their friends and family by asking for the help they are absolutely more than deserving of. As a gender queer bipoc person facing homelessness it is important for them to feel supported and loved by their friends!! They have finally given us permission to post this fundraiser on their behalf. Were asking to raise funds for jonnie to be able to have the chance to have a safe place to sleep basic first month last month and deposit for a apt, repairs for their vehicle to continue working, replacement of basic necessities as well as help to regroup and heal after such a devastating hit.
