Since our beloved husband, father, and Saba, Mattes (Martin) Weingast, suffered a stroke affecting his dominant side, our family has been facing the difficult reality of preparing our home for his return from rehab. Simple daily tasks and moving safely through the house have become major challenges, and without important modifications, returning home would be extremely difficult for him. Our goal is to create a safe, comfortable, and accessible environment where Mattes can continue his recovery, regain independence, and be surrounded by the love and support of his family.

The funds raised will go directly toward essential home modifications and medical accessibility needs, including ramps, widened doorways, accessible bathroom renovations, and other necessary changes to improve safety and mobility throughout the home. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help us create a space that supports Mattes’ healing and makes everyday life more manageable for our family.
