'Holy Smokes!' Film Fundraiser

Hi everyone!

My team (the ones in the banner) and I are currently in the process of pre-production for our universities end of year project, a narrative short titled 'Holy Smokes'. It is a short story based on the true lives of the Sisters of the Valley, a commune of nuns based in California who grow and provide medicinal cannabis to the terminally ill.

Our story follows Sister Sophia; a fresh-faced new member of the nun's Somerset convent, as she embarks on a quest to retrieve a stolen crop of their product in time for the harvest moon. Joining her on the hunt is convent leader Sister Kate as well as her mentor, the wise Sister Nancy.

We are currently aiming to raise around £1200 for the entire production, so any help would be greatly appreciated as we are all incredibly passionate about the story, as well as the messages of community and empathy we think these wonderful women provide. On top of this, we are unfortunately uni students, so our personal budget is limiting our ability to make this film the way we think it deserves (and likely our grade haha)
