Holly Wright

On 1/25/2019, Officer Holly Wright was brutally attacked while in her security vehicle. She was approached from her blind spots by two males. One approached the drivers side window and the other to the passenger side window. The assailant on the drivers side requested her possessions. Then the assailant on the passenger side yanked open the passenger door and pointed a long barrel shotgun at her and stated, " Give me your gun," She complying with her attackers when, 5 inches from her left clavicle area, one of the men fired upon her.

Holly was still conscious when she was sent via ambulance to Carolinas Healthcare System. Her diagnosis is ballistic left clavicle fracture and left chest soft tissue injury. She underwent 2 separate surgeries, one  for left shoulder irrigation, debridement and left clavicle open reduction internal fixation. And the second surgery to repair the clavicle bone.

Holly will have an extensive recovery period and can use as much help as possible during this very difficult time.
