Unfortunately, due to a variety of serious complications including a life threatening infection and resulting hospitalization, Dave recently endured no less than 4 knee surgeries (on the same knee), and is currently being treated with ongoing physical therapy for the foreseeable future. This unexpected ordeal has put an immeasurable strain on Dave's musical career and finances with out of pocket medical bills totaling over $20k and counting.

In response, Dave has organized an unprecedented 3 Day Fun-Raising World Music Festival: "HOLO-Fest" featuring the DHB Acoustic All Stars plus over 50 special guest musicians and bands!! Holo Fest is free, family friendly, and takes place in Pacific Grove, CA over Thanksgiving weekend (Nov. 29th-Dec 1st). About the Festival: Calling all lovers of strings and quality acoustic entertainment! Beloved Monterey Bay mandolinist Dave Holodiloff is throwing an Inaugural 3 day "fun raiser" music festival in his hometown of Pacific Grove, CA over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend and you don't want to miss it...all day acoustic all star string players, singers, and guest musicians will contribute to the lineup of non stop weekend entertainment at The PG Meetinghouse. There's something fun for everyone and all ages at this special music festival....genres include: World Music, Jazz, Bluegrass, Folk, Celtic, Latin, Pop, Rock, Blues, Dance, Holiday, and much much more!
