Our Mission
Hello, my name is Jody Glover, and I'm the Producer of a docudrama called HIDDEN - The Kati Preston Story. This true story is based on a graphic novel written by Kati Preston, who in 1944, evaded deportation to Auschwitz from Hungary by hiding in a peasant's barn.
Kati Preston and I, along with Tom White, an educator and researcher in the field of Holocaust and genocide studies, are teaming up to package Kati's graphic novel (in eBook format), the film HIDDEN - The Kati Preston Story, and Tom's curriculum for schools to use for their Holocaust studies. We plan to launch in September 2025!
The funds we raise will go towards providing under-resourced schools the package for FREE. It's our goal that we reach as many students as possible. For every $300 we raise, an under-resourced school will be able to download these materials for free through our website HIDDEN - The Kati Preston Story.
Kati's story reveals the bravery of people and the horrors of war through the eyes of a child. It's important to remind our next generation of youth that humanity can never let such atrocities happen again. Now, as the world is in the throes of escalating wars, it becomes ever so important to educate youth towards a better future for their world and humanity.
Over the past several years, Kati has dedicated herself to share her story with students. She has an incredible ability to connect with youth through honesty and humour. The kids deeply resonate with her story. To further her mission, Kati has published a beautifully illustrated book targeting high school students.
