Holmes Family Fire Relief
Donation protected
On Sunday, February 1, 2015, the Holmes Family came home to find their apartment engulfed in flames. What was supposed to be a fun Super Bowl Sunday with friends turned into a nightmare. Luckily, no one was home at the time, and no one was hurt- but mom, dad, and all three girls (ages 2, 6 and 9), lost everything. The Santa Clara Fire Marshall deemed the home uninhabitable, so the family is looking for a place to stay and needs help getting on their feet. The funds raised by this campaign will go directly toward temporary housing, a deposit on a new apartment and the basic necessesities such as clothing, bedding, and kitchenware. The cause of the fire has been classified as undeterminable, and while that may leave lots of questions in the minds of the family, I'd like to show them what is for certain- the care their friends, family and community have for them. Thank you for your support!
