Holmes Family Help

Hello my name is Kim Jacobs. I am starting this fund raising for my Niece Katie’s Family. My nephew, her husband Bob, was repairing their roof last week and fell from twelve feet landing on his back on concrete. He has a damaged left arm, a shattered pelvis, and his back is broken in three places. We do not know yet if he will suffer permanent paralysis. Right now he cannot feel or move his legs. We are praying fervently for a miracle of healing.

 

He will be in the hospital for at least 6 weeks. He will come home in a wheelchair and the home will have to be Disability Adapted. Bob and Katie have 8 children, 5 of whom still live at home. They will need a lot of love, kindness, emotional support, prayer and yes help with money in the coming months. If you are able to help, no matter how small your gift is, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We are a large Christian Family and are rallying  behind Bob and Katie to provide as much support as we can. But, as you can tell this will be a long, hard road. The children of course don’t understand fully what’s going on so please pray for them as well. I will update this with Family photos shortly. The two oldest boys are serving in the US Army and have requested leave to go home and help. Bob and Katie live in Lakeside, CA, a suburb of San Diego.
