Holme Valley Transport Scheme

The Holme Valley Transport Scheme was set up in 2007 to provide transport facilities in the Holme Valley and surrounding areas serviced by Honley, Oaklands and Elmwood GP surgeries. The service provides transport for those who would otherwise be housebound and isolated, access to the transport scheme allows patients to retain their independence. Those who use the scheme the elderly, disabled, vulnerable and financially disadvantaged are able to access a range of health services provided within the Holme Valley with this door to door safe and reliable service with a driver many have come to know and trust.
