Hollywood Electrics Damage Recovery Fund

Saturday night looters hit Fairfax Ave in Los Angeles as we all saw on the news. 4 blocks North from the epicenter was Hollywood Electrics.  And it was broken into and looted as well.  I haven't spoken to Harlan, but I heard from Paul Scott that Jackets, Helmets, and the Cash Register were all stolen, and the bikes knocked over and damaged as well.   

Within an hour of hearing about this, Zero rider and forum Admin, Tony Helms sent a message to the moderators asking if we should help with a fund to help out.  We all thought this was a great idea.   I hope insurance will cover much of the damage, but it never makes you whole again, and can take months to come.

So this is a fund for Zero owners who appreciate what Hollywood Electrics has done for the community, to help show support for them during this time more than anything, but also to help quickly with funds that may be needed for security measures or repairs right away.

Thanks guys.  Almost a year ago we all pulled together for Brian T. Rice who had a horrific accident, and he used the funds we raised here and it helped him buy a 2020 Zero DSR to replace his bike which was destroyed.  Insurance we hope eventually covers everything, but even a year later Brian has over $150,000 in medical bills that the insurance company is trying to get out of paying so they are sending the bills to Brian for collection.  Lets hope all that eventually gets covered. 

The last thing you ever need after being the victim of a crime or involved in an accident, is having insurance companies try to get out of paying totally, pay much less than it cost, delay any payments for months until you agree to a lesser amount to get it quicker, or just harass you unnecessarily making it difficult.  No doubt Harlan will have to go through this horrible process.  Let's help him out guys.
