My sister Holly was recently diagnosed with stage 4 Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma (ARMS), which is a very rare cancer that they do not normally diagnose in adults. Less than 350 cases are diagnosed a year. At this time, we do not have any clear answers to what is going to happen, just that we know she has a hard fight. Holly normally works as a travel nurse and at this time she has to take some time off. She currently has appointments at Barnes in St. Louis where we hope we can find answers. If not there, then she will be off to MD Anderson in Houston. These are not local places; therefore, this will help her with travel expenses and any medical bills that she will have. We all know receiving medical care is not cheap! If you know Holly, you know she is a selfless person and has always helped anyone who has ever asked. She’s been a nurse for 30 plus years; now it’s time for us to care for her. Financially and emotionally, this has taken a strain on her. We ask from the bottom of our hearts that first you pray! Pray for strength and comfort for her, Scott, and her 4 kids Carli, Kira, Corrin, and Cole. Secondly, please consider making a donation to help ease the financial strain, so that she can focus on this fight that stands in front of her!
Please feel free to share this with anyone! Also, we believe in the power of prayer, so please add her to any and all lists!
We will be posting updates on Holly's fight as we know!
